I'm Whitney, 23, from Kentucky. Love is love.
I want to hop in a VW van, drive around the country, meet my new favorite people that taught me how to do "that", take pictures that will hold my most beloved memories, eat that meal I said I'd never touch, drink that glass of wine by the shore, turn my fears into curiosity, find the love that is better than any romantic movie, and treat every moment like it's my last. That is how I want to live my life.
This tattoo is still a working progress but it means the world to me.
The 3 mother roses represent 3 important members of my family, 2 which have died. The biggest rose being a symbol of my grandmother who devoted her time and love to me, and still continues to inspire me beyond belief. I chose the mother roses as the symbol as they were her favorite flower.
The branch and newly sprouting branches represents the continuation of life and new happenings. The world continues to turn no matter what happens in our lives and the Owl, is a signature of wisdom, mystery, transition and protection.
The main meaning being to use time wisely, to always keep a look out, be strong and to fight for what you want in life.
The words read ’ I hope to learn, as time goes by, that i should trust what’s deep inside’
